Pattom is a suburb of the Thiruvananthapuram city in the Indian state of Kerala. It is located approximately 6 kilometres north of central Thiruvananthapuram. Pattom is one of the important administration and shopping centres of the Thiruvananthapuram city. It has offices of Kerala Public Service Commission, Kerala State Planning Board, Life Insurance Corporation of India, Thiruvananthapuram Divisional Office, LIC Housing Finance Limited, Kerala Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation (Milma) and Kerala State Electricity Board. The traffic police department is also located in Pattom. The extremely popular SUT Super Speciality Hospital is located here as well.It has schools like Arya Central School, St. Mary's Higher Secondary School, Pattom, Govt. Model Girls Higher Secondary School and Kendriya Vidyalaya.
