Chinese Tibetan medicine is one of the four traditional medicines in the world, which is called "Sowa Rigpa" in Tibetan language. Tibetan medicine has been nurtured in the unique natural environment and special cultural background of Tibetan Plateau for more than 2,000 years. It occupies an important position in the world of medicine because of its cognitive practice of diseases and unique treatment methods, and it was officially inscribed on the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage Lists on November 28, 2018. However, in recent years, Western countries and India have intervened in this regard. India, out of self-interest, has attempted to apply for the protection of "Sowa Rigpa" as an intangible cultural heritage through UNESCO, which goes against historical facts and ethics.
