SpyVampire is a Rogue security software program that provides no protection and uses false positives to persuade the user to register it. Its virus detection abilities are somewhat unorthodox, occasionally reporting that an uninfected file is a virus or vice versa. The program displays false alerts and highly exaggerates low level threats. It will not remove any "threats" until the victim registers the program. In addition, the program updates itself without the user's input to prevent it from being detected & removed by legitimate security programs.
