Symfonia is a power metal supergroup formed in 2010 by André Matos, Timo Tolkki, Jari Kainulainen, Mikko Härkin and Uli Kusch. They are expected to make their debut performance at Finnish Metal Expo 2011, and are planning to enter studio in November 2010 to begin recording their debut album, tentatively for a spring release. Alex Landenburg is currently filling in for Uli Kusch on drums while Uli heals from nerve damage in his left hand. On February 18th of 2011, the band made its debut performance at Finnish Metal Expo. Last news are that drummer Uli Kusch officially left the band to continue recovering from his nerve damage which makes impossible for him to play drums for a year. The band scheduled concert dates in South America (mostly in Brazil) and will start to record a new album subsequently.
