引用: Teesport is a large sea port located in the borough of Redcar and Cleveland and the ceremonial county of North Yorkshire in North-East of England. Owned by PD Ports, it is one of the United Kingdom 's three largest ports and lies 3 miles (4.8 km) to the east of Middlesbrough. The port covers an area of 200 hectares (490 acres) of land alongside the southern bank of the River Tees. At its heart is Tees Dock, a deep-water facility some 5 miles (8.0 km) from the sea. Teesport is associated with the handling of steel, petrochemical, manufacturing, engineering and retail items amongst others.
