引用: Timothy John Godwin, OBE, QPM is a British police officer. He is currently Acting Commissioner of the Metropolitan Police in London, following the resignation of Sir Paul Stephenson. He assumed the role of Deputy Commissioner in December 2008 after the incumbent, Sir Paul Stephenson, was promoted to Commissioner, and took on the role full-time in July 2009. He previously served as Acting Commissioner in December 2010 when Stephenson took leave in order to undergo surgery to remove a tumour.
