Trezise, sometimes spelled Tresize, is a surname of Cornish origin, derived from Trezise in the parish of St Martin in Meneage or Tresayes in the parish of Roche. At the time of the British Census of 1881 [1], its frequency was highest in Cornwall (59.0 times the British average), followed by Montgomeryshire, Glamorgan, Devon, Northamptonshire, Pembrokeshire and Hampshire.
