引用: The Basque derby is the name of the football local derby between Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao. The derby is an inter-city rivalry in the Basque Country. The derby enbodies the rivalry between the neighbouring provinces of Gipuzkoa and Bizkaia. These two clubs are the most prominent football clubs in the Basque Country and have stayed in the top division of Spanish football for longer than most clubs, having won several trophies in the last hundred years.
