classical logic (countable and uncountable, plural classical logics)

1. (logic) A kind of logic based on the principles that each proposition has a truth value of either "true" or "false", but not both, and that if a proposition were to be both true and false or neither true nor false then a result would be that all propositions would be both true and false.
