Eclipse Aerospace is an American aircraft maintenance and upgrade company, with the expressed intention of becoming a future aircraft manufacturer if and when the Eclipse 500 is returned to production. The company was formed specifically to purchase the assets of bankrupt Eclipse Aviation, for which it paid US$20M in cash and US$20M in promissory notes in August 2009.
