HITRAN - HITRAN (an acronym for High Resolution Transmission) is a compilation of spectroscopic parameters that a variety of computer codes use to predict and simulate the transmission and emission of light in the atmosphere. The original version was compiled by the Air Force Cambridge Research Laboratories (1960's). It is maintained and developed at the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics, Cambridge MA, USA.

Hi tran is the operator of public transportation in the High Point, North Carolina area. It compliments three other local and one regional bus service in the Piedmont Triad. Twelve routes travel almost solely within the city limits.
