Grayingham is a small village in Lincolnshire, near Kirton in Lindsey, about nine miles NE of Gainsborough and ten miles S of Scunthorpe. The name Grayingham comes from the Old English Gra(ga)+inga+ham for "homestead of the family of a man named Graeg". The name appears in the 1086 Domesday Book as Graingeham.
