Kienthal Conferenceとは 意味・読み方・使い方

The Kienthal Conference (also known as the Second Zimmerwald Conference) was held from April 24 to 30, 1916. Like its 1915 predecessor in Zimmerwald, it was an international conference of socialists who opposed the First World War. Socialists from opposing belligerent countries and from neutral states participated. More than 40 delegates from Germany, France, Italy, Russia, Poland, Serbia, Switzerland and Portugal attended. The first meeting was held in Berne, Switzerland, the remainder in the secluded village of Kienthal.
