Lochav (लोचव] lohchab[लोचब] Lohchap (लोहचप) Lohchav (लोहचव) Lochhav (लोछव) Lohach (लोहच) or Arh is a gotra of Jatts. They were called Lohchav as Panwars had inhabited this area in Rohtak. They are found in Punjab , Haryana, Uttar Pradesh and Delhi. The King Arh was in fourth generation of Ardas and is mentioned in many stories of Puranas. He was a brave Warrior. According to Todd 's Rajasthan the origin of the Arh dynasty cannot be traced but a few gotras of this dynasty are found among the Jatts.
