Raxola was a Belgian punk band spawned by the legendary Bastard, which also brought forth The Damned (through Brian James) and Elton Motello (through singer Alan Ward). Their debut album (1978) is now a collector’s item. Its CD re-mastered reissue has sold thousands of copies in Japan and hundreds in the USA. After a period of eclipse, Raxola enjoyed fame again following bootlegged compositions such as “Bloody Belgium” and “Bloodstains across Belgium” which was distributed worldwide in 1998.
