     By 1822, the ceremony was moved to Reform Temples. Beginning in 1811, the favorite time for Confirmation was Shavuot, "the time of the giving of the Torah". In a typical ceremony, the synagogue was decorated with flowers. Sometimes the children marched into the sanctuary carrying flowers and offered those flowers as Bikkurim.
