KBEC (1390 AM), is a Classic Country AM radio station that serves the Ellis County area, and is owned by Faye & Richard Tuck, Inc. KBEC is one of the few radio stations in the United States owned by majority of women stockholders and has the distinction of being the longest owned station in Texas. It has been family-owned since 1955 when it was founded by Faye & Richard Tuck and now is primarily owned by their two daughters.
