語源

From Ancient Greek Ληξόβιοι (Lēxóbioi), Ληξούβιοι (Lēxoúbioi), a Celtic/Gaulish name. According to Delamarre, it means "the lame," from *lexsovios (“bent over, lame”), from a Proto-Celtic *lexsowiyos. See also Welsh llechwedd (“slope, tilt”), Irish losc (“lame”), Ancient Greek λοξός (loxós, “slanting, crooked”), and the placename Arllechwedd.
