Methiocarb is a chemical mainly used as a bird repellent, as a insecticide and as molluscicide. It is toxic to humans, not listed as a carcinogen, is toxic to reproductive organs, and a potent neurotoxin. Methiocarb can also cause acute toxicity in humans if anyone is exposed to it for long periods of time. Methiocarb is also a known poison to water organisms.
