Pothukallu is located on the way to Munderi(Asia's one of the eminet seed garden) in the Nilambur Taluk of Malappuram District. Pothukallu is well known for its greenary. A beautiful forest, Charming Chaliyar river, the best football ground campare to the nearest locations. Pothukallu having all its basic amenities such as Hospital,Schools,Mosques,Churches and Temple. Pothukallu became a Panchayath few years ago and it is awarded as a best Panchayath in Kerala for its Clean & Healthy environment
