引用: The redtail notho (Nothobranchius guentheri) is a species of fish in the Aplocheilidae family. It is endemic to Tanzania. Its natural habitats are intermittent rivers and intermittent freshwater marshes. The redtail notho eats mosquito larvae. Scientists believe that if they introduce it in some of Africa 's major bodies of water it can help prevent malaria. It will prevent malaria by decreasing the mosquito larvae in the lakes making less infectious mosquitoes. The fish will also provide food for the African people.
