Rowhook is a hamlet in the Horsham District of West Sussex, England. It lies on the Broadbridge Heath to Ewhurst road 3.8 miles (6.1km) northwest of Horsham. The hamlet is equally divided by the parish boundaries of Warnham, Slinfold and Rudgwick Rowhook lies on a junction of two roman roads, one being Stane Street, the other being un-named which runs to an area in "hurtwood" near Ewhurst in Surrey.Stane Street runs diagonally across Rowhook. From The junction of the A29 and the A281 Known locally as "Roman Gate" Stane street passes through Waterland farm, passes The Chequers Inn and Rowhook Manor and continues in an north-easterly direction toward Ockley in Surrey where it once again joins the A29.
