Sandsend is a small fishing village, near to Whitby in the Scarborough district of North Yorkshire, England. It forms part of the civil parish of Lythe. It is the birthplace of fishing magnate George Pyman. Originally two villages, Sandsend and East Row, but now united Sandsend boasts an excellent pub and restaurant. A large part of the western side of the village, in The Valley is still owned by Mulgrave Estate. The Valley is one of the most expensive areas to buy property on the Yorkshire Coast.

Sands End is in the southernmost part of the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham in London, England. Sands End was a close knit working class community but has in recent years become gentrified with flats on the market for more than £2.4 million.
