WQLA 960 AM, "The ONLY One You'll EVER Need" is a radio station broadcasting a Full Service/Classic Hits music format with emphasis on local information. Programming includes funeral and community announcements 7 times daily Monday thru Saturday, national news hourly and local weather every 15 minutes - 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Additionally, the station features "The 960 WQLA Worldwide Swap Shop" every Monday thru Friday following the 8am News, a live call-in buy, sell, trade or give-away program and "It's Your Time", a live call-in issue/topic/discussion oriented program that airs 10am est. Friday mornings. WQLA 960 streams audio programing via a link on their website, www.wqla.net. WQLA began operation in September 1982 as WWGR. Licensed to La Follette, Tennessee, USA, the station is currently owned by Jenn Media, Inc. with offices and studios located at 251 East Central Avenue, LaFollette, TN and features national news programing hourly from CNN Radio.
