Guy Dodson FRS is a distinguished biochemist who specialises in protein crystallography at University of York. He graduated from New Zealand and later worked with Dorothy Hodgkin. He devised along with Dorothy Hodgkin, very intricate experimental, crystallographic and computer techniques that lead to the final solution of the structure of Insulin. He was head of structural biology laboratories at Univ of York and NIMR (National Institute for Medical research), London [5]. He is married to the scientist Eleanor Dodson.
