     With its Networker Class 165 diesel multiple units […] now 30 years old, Chiltern issued two procurement notices in September 2022 for "between 30 and 70 existing or converted BEMUs" with a circa £200m contract value. A second notice, also for 30-70 units, called for new BEMUs with a circa £400m contract value.
