Bobby Roberts (born 2 September 1940) is a Scottish former footballer and manager, who played as a Midfielder. He joined Motherwell from the Edinburgh Norton junior club, and went on to make almost 100 league appearances for them. He was made player of the year by the supporter's association for 1962. Bobby moved to play in the Football League with Leicester City for the 1963-64 season. He went on to play 230 league matches for the club, and also appeared for Leicester in the 1969 FA Cup Final and the second leg of the 1965 Football League Cup Final. He subsequently transferred to Mansfield Town.
