Diazporaとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Diazpora is a funk band based in Hamburg, Germany. The band formed in winter 2002. Their first performance was held on a private party in April 2003. Starting as an instrumental funk band, Diazpora recorded their first EP without record label support ("Urban" EP, 2003). They later experimented with vocalists on their next EP "Gib Mir" (2006), which was released on Monopalast Records. Due to a growing identification with the "Nu-funk / Deep Funk" scene, the band returned to instrumental funk-music for their first full length album "Live In The Streets" (2008), containing "funked up" versions of Pop-Tunes exclusively. On "Magnetic" (2010), Diazporas fourth release, the band defines it´s "crisp and faboulous" funk sound fusing vintage funk elements into a contemporary context.
