Emulin is a proprietary, over-the-counter combination of three specific flavonoids in a specific ratio which manages carbohydrate metabolism in mammals. The components of Emulin have been shown to inhibit the conversion of complex carbohydrates to simple sugars, reduce the absorption of glucose from the gut to the bloodstream, stimulate the absorption of glucose from the bloodstream to muscle tissue, inhibit gluconeogenesis by the liver, increase lypolysis in fat tissue, increase insulin sensitivity by increasing glucose transporters in muscle tissue in the presence of insulin, and increase insulin release from pancreatic tissue by blocking the inhibitor TNF alpha. Emulin was created in 2007 and is a registered trademark of ATM Metabolics LLC.
