Praporshik (ensign) Ernst Krislanovich Leman (1894–1917) was a Russian World War I flying ace credited with five aerial victories. Leman enlisted in 1914, but learned to fly a Nieuport only in summer 1916. He scored his first victory in May 1917. After the fifth victory in September, he was severely wounded and was hospitalized. He returned to the service just prior to the Bolshevik Revolution. He died on December 17, 1917 from a gun shot wound to his head. It is unclear whether he was murdered or committed suicide.
