Hindu Jatsとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Hindu Jat (जाट), refers to an ethinic group of present North-West India who are Hindu by religion. The Jat people (Hindi: जाट ), are a historical Indo-Aryan tribal group native to the Himachal Pradesh, Jammu, Uttrakhand, Balochistan, Haryana, Punjab region, Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan. Originally most of the Jat people were Hindus though they never followed all Bhramin rituals. They Mostly speak Haryanvi, Rajasthani, Hindi and their dialects like Bagri. Some of these Jat got converted to Islam and Sikhism as was the case with other castes and clans like Rajput, Chura etc and now call themselves Jat-Muslims and Sikh Jatt respectively.
