KGGR is an AM urban contemporary gospel radio station that serves the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, airing only during the Daytime hours on AM 1040 because this station shares the same frequency with "clear channel" station WHO-AM in Des Moines, Iowa. The station can be heard in and around Dallas over FM translator station K273BJ at 102.5 MHz 24 hours a day. The station has had its gospel format since 1990, and is owned by Mortenson Broadcasting. It's a sister station to KHVN (AM).
