The studios located in Suite 700 of the Chase building at 9801 Westheimer Road in the Westchase District in western Houston. The transmitter facilities located in Missouri City. The call letters are a reference to the station's former studio location on Kirby Drive, but were at one point expanded to mean "the Keys to Radio Broadcast Excellence." KRBE is owned and operated by Cumulus Media.
