Neon Gold Records is a New York City/London-based boutique record company founded in 2008 by Derek Davies (NYU '10) and Lizzy Plapinger (Vassar '10). Neon Gold specializes in 7" records, regularly releasing limited runs between 250 to 500 copies. Despite their relatively short history, Neon Gold has already produced singles for such noteworthy acts as Passion Pit, Gotye, Marina and the Diamonds, Ellie Goulding, and several others. In addition, Neon Gold still maintains a music blog, posting news about current productions, as well as profiles of up-and-coming bands from the United States and Europe and Australia.
