Onogursとは 意味・読み方・使い方

The Onogurs, also known as (Bulgar) Utigurs, were a horde of equestrian nomads that used to live in the North Caucasian steppe east of the Don River (Russia) and wandered the Eurasian plains in the 5th–8th centuries. They were ethnically closely related and allied to the Cozarig-Bulgar tribes the legend being that the Onogurs and Bulgars descended from princes of Kush: Hungor & Maugor. Maugor has recently been identified as Muageris. The Onogurs crossed the Volga and entered into Europe around the year 460AD as a result of turbulence in central Eurasia.
