Spacecataz is a failed spin-off from the animated series Aqua Teen Hunger Force (ATHF), focusing on the Mooninites (Ignignokt and Err) and the Plutonians (Oglethorpe and Emory)—all recurring characters on ATHF—who battle with each other in outer space with pranks and practical jokes. It was created by ATHF creators Dave Willis and Matt Maiellaro with the idea of running for six episodes, but only the pilot was produced. Adult Swim, the channel showing ATHF, felt that there was little, if anything that could be made into five more episodes, since all of the characters were destroyed at the end of the pilot.
