WAPI-FM (100.5 FM, "100-WAPI") is a news/talk radio station licensed to Birmingham suburb of Helena, Alabama, which serves Birmingham and central Alabama. It shares a full-time simulcast with WAPI-AM (1070 AM), and is the Birmingham affiliate for the Auburn ISP Sports Network. The station is owned by Citadel Broadcasting. The station was assigned the WAPI-FM call letters by the Federal Communications Commission on February 22, 2010. This is the second station serving the Birmingham market to hold the WAPI-FM call sign. From 1958 until 1994, the station currently known as WJOX-FM was known as WAPI-FM.
