fairgradeとは 意味・読み方・使い方

FAIRGRADE is an organization created in January 2008 to advocate for revisions of the Fairfax County Public Schools (FCPS) grading policies. Its supporters believe that the 6-point grading scale and weighting differences between Honors and Advanced Placement/International Baccalaureate classes put FCPS students at a disadvantage. FAIRGRADE advocates replacing this scale with the more commonly used 10-point grading scale (i.e., 90-100=A, 80-89=B, 70-79=C, 60-69=D, below 60=F), with added weights for Honors and AP/IB classes. It also supports incorporating pluses and minuses within a 10-point scale (i.e., A+, A, A-, B+, B, B-, etc.) or a straight numeric scale with added weights for Honors and AP/IB classes.
