1. In the manner of historians
   • 100 CE ca., Plin., Ep., II, 2, 5:

     Descriptiones locorum non historice tantum sed prope poetice prosequi fas est.

     It is appropriate to look at the descriptions of places not only in the manner of historians but almost in that of poets.
