KBA99 is a NOAA Weather Radio station that is programmed from the National Weather Service forecast office in Honolulu, Hawaii with its transmitter located on Mt. Ka'ala in Oahu. Although this station primarily serves Honolulu and surrounding islands, several repeater translators are added, broadcasting weather and hazard information for the entire state of Hawaii and can be heard 40 miles into the Pacific Ocean. It also transmits on Oceanic Time Warner Cable digital channel 880 for all of Hawaii.| 意味 |
