Kenton Cool (born 30 July 1973) is an English mountaineer, alpinist and UIAGM mountain guide. Kenton is one of Britain’s leading alpine climbers with record hard first ascents and nine successful Everest summits, including leading Sir Ranulph Fiennes' 2008 and 2009 Expeditions. Kenton has brought a fast and light approach to high altitude climbing in the Himalayas, often in totally committing situations, and has completed 18 successful expeditions in the Greater Ranges. Cool is married and lives in Quenington in the UK and near Chamonix in France.
