"New Earth" is an episode of the British science fiction television series Doctor Who which was first broadcast on 15 April 2006. It is the first episode of Series 2 of the revived Doctor Who series. In the year five billion and twenty-three, after the destruction of the Earth, the Doctor takes Rose to the New Earth. There, in a mysterious hospital where the Sisters of Plenitude have a cure for everything, he meets an old friend, the Face of Boe, and an enemy thought dead, the self-proclaimed last living human, Lady Cassandra.
