Project Franchise is a Los Angeles, California, USA, based venture that is developing an online community with the plan to purchase a minor league sports team and allow its members to vote on all team-related decisions. The concept will allow fans the experience of acting as a sports general manager, voting on issues relating to the players and roster construction, as well as other business decisions such as the logos, mascots, and in-stadium promotions. In partnership with SB Nation, Project Franchise operates Front Office Fans, a blog featuring stories on sports topics as well as company progress updates.
