Stone Street, Stonegate, Stane Street or Stanegate are a number of Anglo Saxon Old English names for various Roman roads in Britain. Stone, or its old spelling stane, was commonly used to differentiate paved Roman roads from muddy native trackways. These include:

• Stone Street running from Canterbury to Lympne and now followed by the B2068;
• Stone Street (Halesworth) running from Halesworth to Bungay in Suffolk;
• Stane Street (Chichester) running from London Bridge to Chichester;
• Stane Street (Colchester) running from Braughing, Herfordshire to Colchester;
• Stanegate running from Corbridge to Carlisle to the south of Hadrian's Wall;
• Stonegate a historic street in York, England.
