Sundatty is one of the subdivisions of Yedakadu in south India. More than 150 family live in Sundatty. The oor gaudha (Natamai) name is S.M.Sundram he is the son of late S. Mathagowder(Indco tea founder). Most people are well educated and many are teachers and Govt. public servants. The peoples celebrate Dewali and Sivarathiri Grand festivals.. This atti has very beautiful views and is also one of the best tourist place in Nilgiris. The most beautiful place Avalanchi is near to this atti. The people's culture is very different and more respective one in Tamilnadu.
