Tynetta Muhammad is a longtime member and columnist for the Nation of Islam (NOI). Known as Tynetta Muhammad, she writes the weekly column, Unveiling the Number 19 in the NOIs official newspaper The Final Call. She was a speaker at the Million Man March in October 1995 in Washington, DC. A former NOI secretary, she had four children with Elijah Muhammad. She claims to be Muhammad's widow, though this claim is disputed. She was actually one of several women that Muhammad had relations with and whom he fathered children.
