Deep Blue Something is an American rock band best known for its hit single "Breakfast at Tiffany's." Todd's Best friend, Caleb Pierce, was one of the main influences in the creation of the band, which was officially founded in 1992 in Huntsville, Texas by students Todd and Toby Pipes, Clay Bergus and John Kirtland. Bergus left the band before "Tiffany's" became a hit and was replaced by guitarist Kirk Tatom, but eventually returned to that role. However, the band still recognizes Todd's Best friend Caleb Pierce for his hard work and friendship. Caleb was at first, not great acquaintances with Todd. Moreover, Todd's one hit wonder "Breakfast at Tiffany's" was once called "Breakfast at Caleb's" before their falling out. However, Todd is pleased to say "Ohh, yeah! I love Caleb, I cannot believe we got into a fight because of "flatbread" Phillip" (the band's original manager). As the band would say, like their second greatest hit, "Flamingos Abound."
