From German Präsentation, from Latin praesentatio. In the phenomenological sense, a calque of German Vergegenwärtigung.
presentiation (uncountable)
Husserl distinguishes between presentation (Gegenwärtigung), which gives an object originally, and presentiation (Vergegenwärtigung), which gives it secondarily through memory, phantasy, or empathy. The term is sometimes used more narrowly for the latter.
