1. (transitive, medicine, nursing) To attach a tape to (an IV bag) and periodically record the level.
   • 1979, Nancy Meyer Holloway, Nursing the Critically Ill Adult, page 422:

     Time-tape the bottle to indicate how much solution should be infused over a given period.
