FilesAnywhere is a product of Officeware Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of Immediatek. FilesAnywhere provides cloud-based backup, document collaboration and other web-based file services for individuals, businesses and organizations, similar to services like Dropbox and Box.net. The service started in 1999 with Mark Cuban acquiring majority interest in 2006. In 2010, the company went public. Around the start of 2011, the company launched the FilesAnywhere Blog to further communicate with customers about updates and changes with the product.
